Hayfield Sesquicentennial - 150 years in the making!

Updated: Mar 17, 2022

We are excited that this year marks Hayfield’s Sesquicentennial. It is great to be part of an era that celebrates 150 years of growth and stability within this community. It is equally exciting that this year also marks the 100th year of the American Legion Rothie Post 330 and the 125th year of the Hayfield Volunteer Fire Department.

A committee was formed three years ago to honor and celebrate 150 years of successful small-town living. The committee has recruited organizations to take this opportunity to raise money for their groups by setting up booths and stands to offer fun activities for all ages. We are truly trying to make this a fun community event for all ages. We are planning a parade, kiddie parade, variety show, pie eating contest, fireworks, Rooster baseball game, historical showcase, quilt show, kid carnival/games, old time music, volleyball tournament, mushball tournament, street dance, golf outing and much more.
